Hotels in oslo !!

we are two people planning to visit oslo in december , can anybody suggest me a reasonably priced place to stay , cheap hotel or hostel in , around citycentre ? I looked for some info on the internet , but was not sure to trust it or not . Can anybody share his personal experience staying at a reasonable place ? Reasonably priced places for food , bars ? thanks
